Some of the elements I strive for in my artistic practice are beauty, symbolic content and narrative. These elements I value as an artist have been influenced by studying the works of late Medieval and early Renaissance painters as well as the work of contemporary figurative painters, icon painters and painters of illuminated manuscripts.
